We, Tenebrarum, hereby establish this GUILD or LEGION to follow in accordance with the following charter, in order to establish ourselves as a strong force for end-game raiding, player verses player combat, and for open realm verses realm. Further, Tenebrarum is established to promote its own security, help and protect one another, teach and learn from each other, and ultimately to enjoy the game together.

Article I: The Guildmaster

The Guildmaster is the head of Tenebrarum.

The Guildmaster has the sole authority to accept and officiate, excommunicate, or punish individual chapters and/or Guildleaders of any chapter of Tenebrarum.

The Guildmaster is appointed to a life term.

The Guildmaster may abdicate his title and powers of Guildlmaster to any member of the guild in good standing. If the Guildmaster becomes inactive for more than three months, nominations and voting will occur for a replacement Guildmaster. The nominating and voting process shall occur on http://darkdenizens.com, and shall be public for all members to see.

In the event of a new Guildmaster chosen because of a previous Guildmaster becoming inactive, the previously Guildmaster who became inactive is entitled to reinstatement no later than one week after his return.  This paragraph of the charter cannot be amended, altered, or corrected by a new Guildmaster chosen because of a previous Guildmaster becoming inactive.

Article II: Chaptermasters

Each Tenebrarum chapter shall have a Chaptermaster.

The Chaptermaster acts as Monarch for the Tenebrarum chapter established.

The Chaptermastershall act as the chapter judiciary in the event of potential removal of a member, demotion of a member, or of promotion of a member.

The Chaptermaster shall be the chapter's commander-in-chief of the Legions of Tenebrarum.

The Chaptermaster has the power to establish or alter chapter regulations, policies, and procedures; revoke or alter standard guild policies for said guildleaders' commanding Tenebrarum chapter; establish penalties and punishments for breaking any rules, policies, or procedures; and rewards for strictly following them.  The guildleader shall clearly post all non-standard rules and regulations, changes to standard guild policies, or notice of revokal of standard guild policies as a clearly labeled announcement in the forum established for the guildleader's commanding Tenebrarum chapter at www.darkdenizens.com/forums for the duration of the order's effect.

The Chaptermaster shall establish ranks in order to carry out chapter objectives of Tenebrarum, to create a chain-of-command in order that chapter orders and policies can be appropriately disseminated into Tenebrarum. The chain of command shall comprise officer ranks and member ranks.

The Chaptermaster is appointed to a life term, although the guildleader may be removed from position by the Guildmaster.

The Chaptermaster may abdicate his title and powers of Chaptermaster to any member of the chapter in good standing. If the Chaptermaster becomes inactive or guildquits without consulting the remainder of the guild, nominations and voting will occur for a replacement Chaptermaster. The nominating and voting process shall occur on http://darkdenizens.com, and shall be public for all members to see.

The Guildmaster may act as Chaptermaster of the Flagstone Tenebrarum Chapter, if he so choses.

Article III: Members

By joining Tenebrarum, all members accept this Charter, with full intention to work with one another toward goals that the Guildmaster and Chaptermasters may establish.  Futher, members accept that this charter is global, applying to all members of Tenebrarum.

Article IV: Charter Revision

This Charter may only be revised by the Guildmaster.  However, in order to do so, the guild must, by independent simple majority vote, select three members to act as an Approval Council, which should be Chaptermasters. The Guildmaster then submits all revisions to this Charter to the Approval Council, who may then approve by simple majority vote the Revised Charter, to become the new Charter for Tenebrarum.

Faithfully submitted,
- Cazzmaran
