Policy 1: Trial Fortnight

All new players are subject to a trial fortnight before they become full members.  Be advised of the general exception to this policy: official mergers.

Policy 2: Activity

Each member shall log into his account at least once every two weeks.  Generally, members guildkicked for breaking this policy will be immediately reinvited to the guild upon informing the guild that you are active again.

Policy 3: Teamspeak 3

All members shall be logged into our guild Teamspeak 3 ("TS3")when running guild events or PVP.  All members shall be in an appropriate channel when in TS3.  Be respectful; do not overtalk.  All members should obtain a functional microphone for when using ventrilo.  Take parties and functional groups to grouping channels (i.e., "Grouping and Raiding" or subchannels thereof).

Policy 4: Forums

All members shall establish a forum account.  Each member shall regularly check the forums and contribute to the community thereof.

Policy 5: No Guild Drama; Be Mature

Do not be overly dramatic or cause tention in the guild.  Gaming—especially fantasy MMOs—should be an escape from drama.  Each member shall act as a mature individual.  This requirement is not to be interpreted as a policy prohibiting joking around or fun, but such actions should be kept within respectful limits.

Policy 6: PvP and Raid Participation; Call to PVP

Members should participate in as many guild events as prudent for their play style and schedule.  Do not be late.  Members shall be in TS3 for raiding and/or PVP.  If the Raidleader asks for silence, then be quiet.  Always have appropriate potions, scrolls, consumables, reagents… whatever you need to be at your best.  If you are short on cash, let the Raidleader know. The guild has access to significant funds and will help you if it will benefit the raid.  If the Raidleader gives an order, follow it immediately, even if it is something that you do not agree with or even if you will certainly die.  We expect all members to understand and appropriately be able to play your class.

If the Chaptermaster makes a "call to PVP," all members within the specification given by the Chaptermaster should immeidately proceed to the location the Chaptermaster has designated for staging.  Exceptions are for people in an instance that has a significant lockout.  Anyone not participating in a Call to PVP should contact the Chaptermaster and explain.

Policy 7: Guild Contribution Points

All member's financial (giving the guild stuff) and physical support (showing up to raids and PVP) of the guild shall be measured in Guild Contribution Points ("GCP").  GCP tables shall be published to explain how many points are awarded for turning in items to the guild and for participating in guild events.  GCP can be used to buy crafted and dropped items from the guild.

Policy 8: Loyalty and Community

We expect that each member will make a genuine effort to help the guild and other guild members in game.  Each member will all in some manner contribute.  Further, abusing this policy by overusing guildmembers' generosity can also be the cause for dismissal, at the discretion of the Chaptermaster.

Policy 9: Criticism

Be open to constructive criticism. We are here to help each other.  We will critique you as you should us.

Policy 10: Have Fun

Enough said.
